Why does SelvaViva have two legal structures?
SelvaViva was founded in 1993 as a cooperative for the protection of the Ecuadorian Rainforest (GSR) in Switzerland. Due to cuadorian
legislation, the SelvaViva Ecuador Foundation was established in 2016 for legal reasons.
The SelvaViva Ecuador Foundation is financially supported by the Swiss cooperative GSR.
