SelvaViva’s forest areas comprise approximately 1,700 hectares and consist primarily of primary forest. They are located in the province Napo.

 

How is the SelvaViva organization structured?

GSR Switzerland is the umbrella organization. GSR is responsible for public relations and finances through lectures, events, and fundraising campaigns.

 

Why are there two boards of directors?

Each organization—the parent organization GSR Cooperative SelvaViva Switzerland and the FCP Foundation SelvaViva Ecuador—each has its own legally mandated board of directors.
